Dr. Clinton Lee, B.Acc (Hons), MBA, DBA, CIM, FMA, FCSI

Dr. Clinton Lee is President and CEO of ABF Financial Group Inc. Dr Lee is an international consultant who has had extensive business experience in South Africa, UK, China and North America. His interests are in marketing, strategy and cross cultural management. Dr Lee has traveled to over 43 countries and has worked with clients like Oracle, Bank of Scotland, Kenyan Commercial Bank, Government of Namibia, United Nations Development Program, NOVIB, GTZ and Philips amongst others. Dr Lee’s area of expertise is on cultural diversity and organizational culture. Dr Lee is currently completing the research for his book on the “Different negotiating patterns of the Chinese in Western Canada. He consults for investors interested in the Sino-Canadian market and write articles and gives presentations on cross cultural diversity. He speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and English.

Serena Lu, BA, MA (Lyons)

Serena Lu was born and educated in Taiwan. She graduated from the National Taiwanese University widely acknowledged to be Taiwan’s comparable equivalent of England’s Oxford. For many years she worked for a European Multinational Company where her language and cultural communication skills were honed. Serena was also involved as an interpreter and cultural awareness coordinator with high profile business delegations that have traveled to Taiwan. Serena Lu is a licensed realtor and mortgage broker in BC and has experienced first hand, at both individual and corporate level the important impact cultural awareness has on the outcome of a business deal. She is fluent in Mandarin, Taiwanese, French and English.

Peter Pang BSc. BBus. CGA

Peter Pang was born in Hong Kong. He entered the public accounting profession in 1997. He articled at KPMG and other well known CA firms. Peter’s experience is wide and broad and includes experience in the healthcare industry. He blends his experience in accounting and private industry and combines them with his multicultural experiences. Peter understands the concerns, frustrations of Western Oriented business people doing business with Asia and he shares his vast experience with those wishing to move into the China and Asian markets from a Financial and accounting perspective. He is a member of the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada. Peter is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.

Dr William Lim BA.LLB DBA

Born and raised in Davao in the Southern Philippines, Bill Lim emigrated to Canada in 1971., Bill was called to the British Columbia bar in July 1977 and has been in private practice in the Greater Vancouver area since that time. In 1981, Bill set out on his own to start Lim & Company. The firm quickly gained prominence for the quality of its legal work coupled with its strong service orientation. In 1995, Bill responded to the growing demand for the firm’s services by establishing a second office in Richmond. For the past decade, he has been regularly involved in giving free lectures for The People's Law School. In March 1995, Bill was appointed by the Governor General of Canada and the Privy Council for Canada to serve as a Commissioner of the Fraser River Harbor Commission for a period of three (3) years. Bill has extensive dealings with Clients from Asian and China and these are valuable experiences that many clients find so vital to their success in dealings with Asia. Bill is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, Taiwanese and English.
